We are a privately owned store whose purpose is to not only assist the new Witch or Wizard in finding their own path in the magickal arts, but providing tools and essentials for the most seasoned as well.
Besides providing more items and tools than most online pagan themed stores, we have something very different than what is offered on most other online stores, questions and answers that help the young or brand new inspiring Witch or Wizard choose not only which path, but a particular art they are interested in. How to construct your first altar, what tools are essential and which ones can either wait, or make yourself.
One of the most unique aspects of “Shadows of The Shades” which makes this store stand alone is that our main objective is not only to sell things and make money, but to assure our customers are educated as much as possible in whatever path of paganism they choose, where, and how to start, what should be avoided, or studied first etc. Most of this information can be found on our “Question and Answers: For Beginners” link on the homepage of this website. Something we personally wished we had access to when we first starting practicing over more than seventeen years ago. Hence, we always vowed if we ever taught, or started a pagan business, we would make absolutely sure; beginners had a place to come and have their curiosities and as many of their questions answered as possible.
For the more seasoned or experienced Witch or Wizard, we will do as much as we can to provide as much assistance to the more complex form of magick, and assure you receive not only the proper information, but the correct tools for your particular workings.
Though not too proud to admit, I personally, the co-founder of Shadows of The Shades, have practiced for many years in not only the “Left Hand” path, but the “Ceremonial” as well, thus I posses a wealth of knowledge in necromancy, conjuration, and seal making. Today, having stepped away from the left hand path for many years now, I do my best to teach those curious about dabbling with these forms, not only the dangers and consequences, but do my best that if those are the paths they chooses, how to use the most precautions available.
The founder and my wife, has been a long time practicing Wiccan, and has vast knowledge in healing, divination and lower magick overall. For those seeking knowledge in Herbology, Native American forms etc, she will gladly answer, and assist those seeking to learn in any way she can.
