Abracadabra amulet

Inscribed upon a pewter background, the Abracadabra amulet displays an ancient symbol originally intended to cure fever and illness by an ancient physician of Rome. The phrase is intended to be spoken nine times, dropping the last letter each time until only the A is left, and in this way the illness was thought to be reduced as well.
